For PvP, Arms is expected to remain the preferred choice thanks to Mortal Strike, Improved Hamstring, and Iron Will. Fury and Protection appear less competitive in this role.

WoW Forever is introducing major class changes to wow gold make more specializations viable in leveling, PvE, and PvP. Paladins and Warriors are receiving particularly important updates, giving players more flexibility when choosing their builds.

Paladin: All Three Specs Get Stronger

Paladins gain two new abilities: Holy Strike, an additional damage skill, and Seal of Fury, which provides a dedicated tanking option. Blessings now last one hour, Judgment no longer consumes the active Seal, and Lay on Hands has a reduced 20-minute cooldown.

Each specialization also benefits from talent and gameplay improvements:

  • Retribution: Better mana efficiency, additional abilities, and improved spell power scaling make it more versatile. Seal twisting also creates new damage opportunities.

  • Protection: The biggest winner of the rework. Improved mana efficiency, defensive cooldowns, mitigation talents, stronger single-target threat, and two taunts make Protection a much more capable tank.

  • Holy: A strong PvE healer that also remains viable in PvP. Voice of Truth provides temporary immunity to silence and interrupts, addressing one of Holy Paladin's traditional weaknesses.

Retribution looks attractive for leveling, while Protection becomes a strong option for players who want to tank dungeons.

Warrior: Rage Generation Gets Reworked

Warriors receive two notable baseline changes. Tactical Mastery is now a trained ability, allowing players to retain up to 10 Rage when switching stances. Victory Rush adds an instant attack that restores 10% of maximum health after killing an enemy that grants experience or honor.

The biggest adjustment is normalized Rage generation. This reduces the Warrior's previous dependence on weapon damage for generating Rage and helps balance its scaling at higher gear levels.

All three talent specializations have potential for leveling:

  • Arms: Strong critical strikes and powerful AoE damage through Sweeping Strikes.

  • Fury: Offers talents such as Raging Blow and Dual Wield Specialization.

  • Protection: Gains improved survivability, Revenge damage, and Rage generation from blocks, dodges, and parries. It can also make dungeon groups easier to find.

For PvP, Arms is expected to remain the preferred choice thanks to Mortal Strike, Improved Hamstring, and Iron Will. Fury and Protection appear less competitive in this role.

Which Specialization Should You Choose?

WoW Forever gives Paladins and Warriors more meaningful build options than Vanilla. Protection Paladin looks particularly promising, while all three Warrior specs offer different leveling advantages.
