With WoW Forever launching soon, preparing your character and understanding the game's new features can make a big difference. From earning extra gold to buy wow gold improving your leveling speed, here are some useful tips to help you get started.
1. Create a Bank Character and Expand Your Bags
Create a separate bank character to store items you don't need immediately. Taurens are particularly convenient because their Plainsrunning ability helps them reach major cities quickly. A bank character gives you 48 additional inventory slots.
You can also upgrade your starting bag from 16 to 20 slots by activating the Battle.net Authenticator under Account Security. Additionally, every race has a starting quest that rewards a six-slot bag.
For more storage, look for profession bags on the Auction House or ask a Tailor to craft bags using six Linen Cloth.
2. Use Layer Changes to Your Advantage
When the game asks you to change layers, the Refresh Now option can be useful. Refreshing may cause quest items to respawn, help you escape dangerous situations, or reveal different items at a vendor.
Layer changes can sometimes even bring different weather conditions. However, nearby enemies may still be present after switching, so stay alert.
3. Improve Your Questing Experience
Enable Quest Objectives in your map filters to see exactly what each quest requires, including new WoW Forever quests.
You can also use a leveling guide with an arrow pointing toward your next objective. These guides can track completed quests and adjust automatically to your character's current progress.
If quest creatures are difficult to spot, increase the minimum character name size and enable hostile and quest NPC names in the options.
4. Make More Gold While Leveling
Sell unused weapons and armor instead of keeping them in your bags. Otherwise, you'll waste money repairing equipment you no longer need.
When choosing quest rewards, consider their vendor prices if you don't need any of the available items. You can also sell meat through the Auction House, as cooks and certain quests require it.
Prioritize weapon upgrades over armor upgrades when possible. Better weapons can significantly improve your leveling speed. However, save enough gold for your level 40 and 60 riding skills and mounts.
5. Plan Your Legacy Points and Professions
Legacy Points are important for progression. Completing dungeon quests, reaching PvP rank three, and leveling additional characters can all help you earn them. Characters receive points at levels 25, 45, and 60, while professions provide points at skill levels 150, 225, and 300.
Choose a gathering profession early. Skinning can be especially profitable during launch week because you can collect materials from creatures other players leave behind.
Cooking is also worth leveling. Its food buffs increase experience gained from kills by 5% for 15 minutes.
6. Don't Miss These Extra Tricks
Loot every chest completely so it can despawn and respawn, usually within 5–10 minutes.
Use Leatherworking tents to gain one bar of rested experience after sitting for one minute, once per hour.
Skyborn players should collect Windstones and exchange them for useful green items.
Reduce ground clutter and environment detail to make herbs and quest objects easier to spot.
Hunters and Warlocks can use the Move To command to position pets and demons, helping pull enemies away from ground objects.
These small improvements can save time, increase your wow gold income, and make your WoW Forever leveling journey much smoother.
